My dear students,

On behalf of the Dudhnoi College family, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you all. I feel immensely proud to greet you to Dudhnoi College — the premier institution of higher education of Assam.
Established on the 4th of August, 1972 with a Pre-University (P.U.) Course in the Arts stream, the college has grown steadily over the years. The Science stream was introduced in 1985 and the Commerce stream in 2015, thereby fulfilling the educational aspirations of students across diverse disciplines. I take this opportunity to pay my sincere tribute to the visionary and noble personalities of the locality whose untiring efforts made the founding of this institution possible.

I would also like to express my deep appreciation to the honourable President and members of the Governing Body, along with the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, for their relentless commitment to ensuring quality and consistency in education. Their hard work and selfless service have played a crucial role in shaping the lives and futures of countless students.

Since joining as Principal on 10th July, 2018, I have been putting in my best efforts to strengthen the college’s performance in academics, research and co-curricular activities. I am happy to share that in the 3rd Cycle of NAAC Assessment held in 2024, Dudhnoi College has been accredited with an 'A' grade with CGPA of 3.05 — a remarkable milestone in our journey of excellence and growth. I firmly believe that Dudhnoi College, like other great educational institutions, will continue to contribute meaningfully towards building a better society and a stronger nation.
